A complete refurbishment and architectural & interior design project for a Grade II listed family home in the heart of St John's Wood, created for a long-standing client as she settled into her new home.
The project encompassed the redesign of the entire house, including the entrance hall, reception rooms, kitchen, dining room, TV room, utility room, four bedrooms and six bathrooms. Our approach focused on creating a home that feels elegant, comfortable and timeless, while respecting the character and architectural significance of the property.
Every space was carefully tailored to the client's lifestyle, combining practical family living with refined detailing and carefully considered materials. Bespoke joinery formed an integral part of the design, from custom libraries and media units to wardrobes and fitted furniture, ensuring every element felt seamlessly connected to the architecture.
Working within the constraints of a listed building required close coordination with specialist consultants and contractors throughout the project, allowing contemporary living to be introduced with sensitivity and respect for the home's heritage. The result is a home that balances period character with modern functionality, delivering a warm, understated interior designed to be enjoyed for many years to come.
